Allender gets Ripped

This is the second P.K. Ripper that was snapped recently by a BSv.4 rider. The first belonged to Tanner Monmaney and its demise was captured dramatically (and hilariously) on film by the Aloha Fixed crew. This one was done in by our man Allender during a quarter to bank transfer. Both frames broke in the same place...

Adversity breeds better parts... or so we hope!

Villains & Co. is running a sale through Friday... don't sleep! Details here.

Prizzy Prizzy Please

The guys at Joyful Noise Recordings have been a huge help to us throughout the process of putting together the Bootleg Sessions videos, so much so in fact that I'm not sure we could have done any of this without them. They basically opened up their entire catalog to us and let us use any of the songs that they manage the rights to free of charge. That's a huge deal as licensing music can be a tremendous expense if you're doing everything on the up and up.

Our collaborative relationship has progressed now to the point where I've recently started working directly for the label. The first release that I'm helping out with is a full length record by the band Prizzy Prizzy Please, the same group that so graciously allowed us to use their song "Ride the Love Bullet" in the Bootleg Sessions v.3 trailer...

These guys effing rip, and they are without question one of the most unique punk bands out there right now. I always say that if someone ever decides to do a bitchin' remake of the cult classic Barbarella (Spike Jonze anyone?), PPP should be signed up to do the soundtrack. That's the only way I can describe them. The album is called Chroma Cannon, and JNR has just released two of the songs off the record in mp3 format as a taste of what's to come...

And here's the original trailer for Barbarella in case you don't know what the hell I'm talking about...
