The Fight with Flight flatland comp is returning to Indy for its second go this Saturday. Ride/Relax Productions put together a promo for it again this year, this time featuring Steve Mulder who is unquestionably the biggest bomb dropper in the history of flatland BMX. No one else hits the hammers like this guy...

CANCELLED

I was supposed to be heading up to Milwaukee for the Midwest Mayhem event this morning, but unfortunately my wife woke up with a vicious case of the stomach flu which means I have to stay home and do the dad thing. Extremely disappointing, I was really looking forward to an amazing weekend and a chance to do some solid riding in the middle of winter, but that's the way things go sometimes I guess.

Apologies to everyone I had made plans to hang out with... hope everyone else has a blast!

Old School beats

Every once in awhile I get an idea for putting together a pretty simple beat using a couple of different samples, like the one I did for Mosher's part in BSv.2 and one that will be part of Tanner's part in BSv.4. Obviously I only do 100% amateur stuff though, especially when compared to a legend like DJ Muggs...



Pretty sick to watch him work, he was the master back when beats were still made entirely from samples.

This is going to be fun

OK, I can understand the cops kicking these guys out of the parking garage, I've been kicked out of more places than I can count over the years, but arresting them? Are you kidding me? If I were a taxpayer in Milwaukee, I would be livid at the sheriff's department over this complete waste of time and money. At least the MKE polo crew is getting some pub regarding the incident, and perhaps this will make the cops think a bit more in the future...

I went out with Zach Renner for awhile today and got some really good footage of him despite the fact that we both nearly froze to death. In other news, we're starting to get all of the footage in for BSv.4 from all over the world... at this point I'm confident that this (final?) edition in the series is going to go down in a big way...
