Wilis Johnson - Bootleg Sessions v.1
The first time I remember seeing Wilis was in a Cadence ad in Cranked Magazine way back in 2006. Wilis is one of the OGest of the OGs. I think he's lived in every city on the planet at some point in his life. He makes some killer paintings using bike parts as well... I have one hanging on the wall in my front room.

Tony Fast - Bootleg Sessions v.1
The always entertaining Tony Fast's part from Bootleg Sessions v.1. In many ways Tony epitomizes the Bootleg Sessions project in my mind... his only motivation in riding is to have a good time with his friends, and because of that his parts are always some of the most fun to watch.
The intro to this part is still one of the most amazing things that was captured in any of the Bootleg vids. In Philly, if you mess with someone, they're going to take you down. Once the guy realizes what's happening, he doesn't shout a bunch of empty threats at anyone (a la the SF construction worker in MASH). He immediately sizes up the situation (one against six? not a problem!), coils himself up like a drunken rattlesnake, and then strikes. And of course it's Tony that he targets because Tony is like a magnet for craziness...

Burd Phillips - Bootleg Sessions v.1
Did anyone notice the kid who mooned the camera in the first part?

Keo Curry - Bootleg Sessions v.1
The always unbelievable Keo Curry's part from Bootleg Sessions v.1. The last line at the 2:51 mark still blows me away... so much control!

Bootleg Sessions v.1 - Tom LaMarche
As part of the run up to the release of the final volume in the Bootleg Sessions series, we're going to be posting the entirety of Bootleg Sessions v.1 on YouTube so that those who have seen it already can reminisce a bit and those who haven't can get an idea of how this whole thing got started.
We'll kick this off with Tom LaMarche's opening edit of course. Even though things have progressed pretty dramatically since 2007 when BSv.1 was released, I think a lot of what Tom does in this part would still stand up today. That's how far ahead of the game he was (and still is)...
Part 2, Keo Curry's section, will be posted in a couple of days, so make sure you check back!

Prizzy Prizzy Please - 20/20 Vision
Chicago's Prizzy Prizzy Please, the band that contributed the song that appears in Marco's opening part in BSv.4, had a record release show in Indy last Friday night. The show was unfortunately moved to a 21+ venue last minute because the original spot caved or something, but it was still jumping. Just found this vid of the first song they played...
These guys are unbelievable live... if they're in your town over the next two months (and it's almost guaranteed they will be), make sure you check them out.

Teppei!
A new quick edit from Teppei (aka Nasty) by Kant. So much fun to watch this guy ride. He has a brief section in Bootleg Sessions v.4 and it's one of my favorite parts.

Grime Time
Joey Krillz (aka the Smashenger) at Grime St. sent me one of their new tees. Sick. I especially like the subtle black on black Oscar graphic on the back...
Thanks Joey! You guys remember Mr. Krillz, right? That's him at 1:58. Still love that clip.
