Vans Fixed Gear shoes

Obviously I'm not going to get these since I'm all about the Adidas Superskate slip-ons, not to mention the fact that Vans doesn't even make shoes big enough for me, but I'm curious as to what everyone else's opinions of these things are...

I'll get them because:
-I ride Eras anyway
-I like the "colorways"
-I like 3m
-I like to support companies like Vans for realizing that other people besides skaters wear their shoes and eventually, I'd like them to make those SPD clipless Vans again!

90% of fixed gear riders with any sense of style wear these shoes anyways, this makes complete sense.

I've been wearing Vans for over 25 years (46 yo). The white ones look like the pair in my closet albeit with a catchy new Vans logo. I'm particular to the slip-ons for riding lately. Not sure what the difference is with the "fixed" designation, but I'll keep on wearing them.

The 3M in the laces is pretty clever. What are those bag things in the photos?

+1 for the return of clipless Vans!
some kind of protection over laces will be useful on fixed gear specific shoes

-saddle bag (not that I know many dudes with saddle bags)

ballistic nylon/leather vs cotton or canvas

Ps I don't think these are going to be cheap. eras with leather in the past wee $80 to 100

lame. that's not sense of style, that's sense of unoriginal style.

come now Tom, surely you realize reflective shoe laces have been around for decades. Go mod your own shoes.

YES! Or any shoe that you ride any bike in, fixed or not. Getting laces caught is good for nobody.

This is 99% marketing.

Anyone know where I can find the white ones? Been looking online and at Ubiq, can't find em!

The only place i found them is at 6pm.com, to bad they don't have sizes bigger than men's 8.5, but my friend that wears them says they are great, and that the material is appropriate for metal clips (the toe of the shoe doesn't tear as easy). I would totally get them, i switch from converse, to vans last summer, and quite honestly fashion or not, poser or not, i love my fixed, and i love the lifestyle, if i can represent it on my shoes to, i'll do it :)

A debt of gratitude is in order for setting aside an ideal opportunity to examine this, I feel emphatically about it and affection adapting more on this theme. On the off chance that conceivable, as you pick up skill, would you psyche overhauling your online journal with more data? It is to a great degree supportive for me. HOME PAGE
